SCRATCH PRESENT : SARAH LOVE (MTV/1XTRA) AND HOST MYSTRO @ THE BIG CHILL HOUSE (SAT 30TH JANUARY 2010)
Scratch are very proud to announce their next special guests as DJ Sarah Love and Mystro.
There is a strong link between our 2 guests this month as both have been an integral part of the Hip-Hop line up at the excellent Kung Fu nights. Over the last decade, both have made a big impact on the Hip Hop scene in the UK.
Sarah continues to impress with her entertaining DJ sets, so much so that she now hosts a regular show for BBC's 1xtra:-

Our Host, Mystro aka Mys Diggi, who has released music with a number of established producers and labels is also currently creating a big buzz with his clever and entertaining '2009 UK Rap Up' which has already had thousands of hits on Youtube after being posted just a few days ago, at the end of 2009. Here's the new Official video:-
Mystro also recently released his F.D.T EP too:-

ROY AYERS @ THE JAZZ CAFE (29TH & 30TH JAN 2009)
Matt Smooth and myself were lucky enough to play at the Roy Ayers gig on the 29th and 30th of December (2009)
We really enjoyed this night, Roy Ayers played a number of classics, from 'Everybody Loves the Sunshine' to 'Running Away' and I got my 'Everybody Loves the Sunshine' LP signed by him too.
It's amazing, he's now 69 and able to give shows like this, he looked like he was really enjoying it to, (he was quite funny at times) I particularly enjoyed the version of 'We Live in Brooklyn' with the lyrics changed to 'We Shop at Tesco's Baby'
A great way to end 2009.
"He's a superstar!" and a legend!
